SIOR Raises Funds for Camp Fire Victims


Chapter Partners With North Valley Community Foundation to Assist Last Year’s Fire Victims

NAPA, Calif. – December 16, 2019 – The Northern California chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR), which represents the world’s elite in industrial and office brokerage, partnered with North Valley Community Foundation to assist the Camp Fire victims. This year, the Northern California chapter donated $5,000 to the Camp Fire Relief Fund.

North Valley’s Camp Fire relief and recovery effort raised $55 million, including $14 million granted by the six-month anniversary. In the six months after the fire, the Foundation awarded 210 grants for relief and response totaling more than $3.6 million through its Camp Fire Relief Fund and an additional $2 million for schools and public safety through donor-advised donations.

SIOR encourages members across the globe to give back to their communities through service events organized by their local chapters. SIOR chapters have been long-time supporters in their communities, and donate time and resources to a variety of causes throughout the year. SIOR was established in 1941.
