SIOR Hosts Bus Tour for Cal Real Estate Club

Commercial Real Estate Experts Share Insights Into Silicon Valley Developments

SAN JOSE – April 3, 2019 – The Northern California chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR) recently held a bus tour for the University of California at Berkeley’s Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics. Students and SIOR docents toured some of Silicon Valleys’ real estate projects that are in varying stages of construction.
A year after touring Salesforce Tower, 181 Fremont, Uber’s new headquarters, Alexandria’s Mission Bay projects and the Chase Center – future home to the Golden State Warriors, the SIOR Northern California Chapter and SIOR Foundation-sponsored Cal Bus Tour took on Silicon Valley, beginning with a stop at a new Facebook campus on the San Francisco Peninsula and finishing that afternoon at Apple’s “Spaceship Campus” in Cupertino. Nearly 50 students from the Undergraduate Real Estate Club at the University of California, Berkeley took a day off from school for the tour, which commenced at 9:30 a.m. and returned the students to campus at 5:00 p.m.
